You will receive an email confirmation of the order as soon as the order is placed on our website.

You will receive via email an invoice, listing of all material and the amount that was charged after your credit card is processed.

You will receive again by email the carrier's name and the tracking number after the product has left the warehouse. You may track your order either by going to the website of the carrier or calling them directly. If you need the freight company to come to your home at a particular time or date, please contact the company to make the necessary arrangements. You must be home to unload your shipment!

Residential Deliveries 

In most cases a large delivery trailer truck will make residential deliveries. All deliveries are curbside deliveries; drivers are unable to enter your home. Be prepared to help offload the product from the truck. If you have a driveway or road that is inaccessible for large trucks you have different options:

the product will have to be offloaded at the closest point where you will be responsible for it from there. In these cases you may need a pickup or van to transfer the flooring from this point to your home.

With an additional fee the freight company can arranged to transfer your order to a smaller truck and delivered it to you house.

You can pick up your product at the freight company terminal. There will be no discount or reimbursements for picking up you shipment form the freight terminal.

Freight terminals are large warehouses where products are staged for shipping to local addresses.

All flooring is packaged in corrugated boxes, and strapped with plastic bands. Depending on manufacturer boxes weigh approximately 30 to 50 lbs a box.

If you need a lift gate to unload your flooring you may require this additional service with the freight company.

At the time you receive your order, you must count everything and check for damages and/or missing items. Compare the bill of lading provided by the trucking company with the invoice sent to you by FloorsbyNature.com. Note that in many cases molding pieces may be separated on the flooring pallet and packaged different. Make sure the product description matches with what you have ordered. In case you received wrong items, please email us the item ID or provide us a clear description of the product received. This way, we can clearly identify the error and correct immediately.

If you have ordered more than one molding, please open the tube or carton to make sure all of the moldings are present and undamaged before signing.

Any damages or missing items must be noted on your delivery receipt. And in such cases, you will be required to file directly with the carrier. If no damages are noted on the delivery receipt, FloorsbyNature.com cannot be held responsible for any damages or shortages that occur.


Damage can happen, don't be alarmed if this happens to you!

Most of the time it will be one box or carton on the bottom of the pallet. If the damage affects six to seven inches on a few pieces it should not be a concern. There are always cuts to be made. Tears, broken bands, scuffed, or rippled packaging is not considered damage. Freight damage is exclusive to actual damage of the hardwood flooring itself.

Damage to one or two boxes is not considered a total loss. Often a few pieces are affected as up to as many as 30 pieces can be contained in one box of hardwood flooring depending on the product purchased. For damaged boxes we suggest opening them when you have it in your home to assess how much has been affected. DO NOT DISCARD any of the damaged material. Once reported, the damaged material is the property of the carrier, by law, and they have 120 days to decide if they wish to inspect, pick up or advise to discard the damaged material. Unless otherwise advised by us, do not throw away or destroy any damaged material received.

Please note on the delivery receipt all freight damage, or items that have not been received. We cannot be held responsible for damage or shortage after the shipment is signed for. Notify us immediately at 866 987 1313. Keep a copy of all the paperwork provided by the carrier. When you contact us, we will request you to provide us with this information. If this documentation is readily available, we can get a head start on processing your claim.

NEVER refuse a delivery. Refused deliveries incur additional costs and decrease the chances of getting resolution in a timely manner. Refused deliveries are also subject to initial and return shipping costs, plus 25% restocking fee. Any damages from refused deliveries are non-refundable, and because it was refused, would not be noted. We are not responsible for ANY costs associated with a refused delivery.


We do not accept returns under 100 square feet or lines that have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Only full unopened cartons/boxes are acceptable. You will be responsible for the freight when returning and a 25% restocking fee. All thresholds, trims and other moldings cannot be returned, along with adhesives and underlayment.

Should any material not meet your requirements, FloorbyNature.com must be advised PRIOR to installation. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept responsibility.

You will need to contact us at 866 987 1313 to obtain an authorization number. Do not email your request; Return authorization number has to be obtained within 30 days from the date of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. All returns without authorization will be refused.

Wait for our email notification of your Return Authorization and instructions for return shipping.

Email/ call us with the tracking number of the return shipment; returns can not be processed without the return tracking number.

Allow 10-15 days from the time the returned items were received in our store for processing of refund.


If for any reason you need to cancel your order with FloorsbyNature.com you will need to contact us at 866 987 1313 as soon as possible to obtain an authorization number. Do not email your request; Return authorization number has to be obtained within 30 days from the date of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. All returns without authorization will be refused.

There will be a re-stocking fee of 25% on all cancelled orders. If the product has already been shipped you will need to make arrangements to return it to FloorsbyNature.com

You will be responsible for the cost of shipping to and from the scheduled destination. Product must be returned on the skid that it was shipped on and in the same condition that it was received.

Open boxes or partial products cannot be returned.
